Our 2024 Estyn Inspection

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to share the results of our recent Estyn inspection, which highlights our commitment here at Ummul Mumineen Academy to excellence in education and Islamic values.

Estyn noted:

“Senior leaders provide resilient leadership that successfully manages significant growth while maintaining a nurturing environment.” This reflects our dedication to strategic planning and since our last inspection we have more than doubled in size while maintaining our ethos. This demonstrates our commitment to serving our community.

Our curriculum integrates Islamic values, Arabic, and Qur’aan studies. Estyn praised this approach, stating, “The school provides a broad curriculum that promotes inclusivity, respect, and understanding.”

Our pupils’ progress and engagement were commended: “Pupils make strong progress and display high levels of thinking skills.”

Estyn highlighted our emphasis on well-being, remarking, “The school’s robust support systems ensure the emotional and mental well-being of pupils and staff.”

We thank Allah subhana wa ta’aala for these blessings and extend gratitude to our staff, students, and families for their unwavering support. Together, we will strive for even greater heights, inshaAllah.
