About UMA
Ummul Mumineen Academy is a registered independent faith-based Primary and Seocndary school for girls. It is the first and only Muslim girls school in Wales. We’ve served our community in Cardiff for sixteen years with a vision to help Muslim girls thrive and learn.
Alhamdulilah, what started as a tuition centre in 2007 later expanded and flourished into the school it is today. then became a registered. Ummul Mumineen Academy has been serving our local community for 16 years.
At U M Academy we pride ourselves on our strong nurturing environment. Our smaller class sizes stand as an example of the nurturing environment we cultivate. This allows our teachers to spend more time with each child; becoming more familiar with their learning styles, personal strengths and weaknesses. This enables our teachers to meet each student’s individual needs. Coupled with our bespoke curriculum, we provide a beautiful environment for young Muslim girls to thrive and learn in.
